Droid Slicer

This game was created for a college game jam and is a first-person VR game. You play as a Jedi aboard a starship and are tasked with slicing all the droids. The lightsaber is coded to create procedural slices where the player cuts the mesh, making it feel like the lightsaber is really cutting the droids. If you miss any of the droids, you lose a life. If you hit a thermal detonator, you lose all of your lives. The goal is to get a better high score which can be viewed from the start level on the hologram.

To play this game, you need to use SteamVR. When you load into the game, you should be in the middle of the hallway. Always be careful of your surroundings when playing in VR. Everything should be within reach, without the need to move from the starting position. To start the game or change settings, use the lightsaber to slice the words. The game will start immediately so be ready. If you see any droids, use the lightsaber to slice them, but don’t hit the bomb or you will lose all your lives. If you miss three droids, the game will also end. When you return to the start, you can view your score from the hologram.
